The problem

Is your business invisible on Google?

A lot of great local shops live only on Facebook. The trouble is Facebook now hides most of a page unless the visitor is logged in — so when someone Googles you, they can't easily find your hours, your services, or a way to book.

Those are customers standing at your door with their phone out, giving up and picking the next place on the list. A simple website fixes that: it shows up on Google, works on any phone, and puts your info one tap away.

What people see when you're Facebook-only:

“Log in to see this page.” No hours. No prices. No booking. On a competitor's site, all of that is right there — so that's where the call goes.

What you get

Done for you & maintained

You don't touch a line of code. I build it, launch it, host it, and keep it updated. Need a change? Send me a text.

About

You'll work with a person, not a portal.

Oakland Web Code is a local, one-person web studio based right here in Oakland County. I build websites for the barbers, salons, bars, lawn crews and trades that make our towns run — the businesses big agencies ignore and template factories overcharge.

No account managers, no offshore ticket queue, no 12-month contract. Just clear pricing and someone local who picks up the phone.

FAQ

Questions people ask

I already have a Facebook page. Why do I need a website?

Facebook is great for your regulars who already follow you. A website is for the people googling you who never see your Facebook page — and Facebook hides most of your info behind a login anyway. The two work together: I can even pull your Facebook posts onto the site.

How long does it take?

I can usually have a first preview to you within a few days. Once you approve it and send me your photos and details, it's live shortly after.

Do I actually own the website?

Yes. The domain and the site are yours. There's no lock-in — if you ever want to leave, you take everything with you.

Can I update it myself, or do I have to?

You don't have to touch anything. Changing hours, adding a photo, updating a price — just message me and I'll take care of it as part of your monthly.

What does it cost?

A flat one-time fee to build it, plus a small monthly for hosting and updates. No contracts, cancel anytime. Reach out and I'll give you an exact number for your business.
